Protect Your Pavement. Enhance Your Curb Appeal.
Whether you're a homeowner with a beautiful driveway or a business owner with a busy parking lot, protecting your asphalt isn’t just smart—it’s essential. At StripeCraft, we specialize in professional sealcoating that extends the life of your pavement and keeps it looking fresh and well-maintained.
WHY SEALCOAT MY DRIVEWAY OR LOT?
Here are 6 good reasons
1
Guards Against Weather Damage
Virginia weather is rough on asphalt. Sun, rain, ice, and snow all cause wear and tear. Sealcoating adds a protective layer that helps prevent fading, cracking, and water damage.
2
Saves You Money
Small cracks turn into big problems. Sealcoating prevents early deterioration and delays the need for expensive repairs or full replacement.
3
Make Your Asphalt Look Brand New
That rich black finish doesn’t just look sharp — it adds real curb appeal and can even increase your home’s value.
4
Extends The Life Of Your Pavement
A properly maintained driveway can last twice as long. Sealcoating is one of the easiest ways to protect what you already paid for.
5
Cleaner, Safer Surface
Sealcoating smooths the surface, reduces loose gravel, and makes it easier to shovel or blow snow — plus, it’s gentler on tires and shoes.
6
Easie Year-Round Maintenance
Sealcoated driveways are smoother and less porous, which means dirt, leaves, and snow don’t stick as easily. That makes routine cleaning, snow shoveling, and power washing faster and easier — saving you time and effort throughout the year.
OUR PROCESS IN 3 STEPS
What to expect when you work with us
1. Surface Preparation
We start by cleaning the pavement thoroughly using blowers, edgers, metal brushes, and a blowtorch for persistent vegetation. This removes dirt, debris, and loose materials so the sealer can bond properly. Clean prep is key to long-lasting results.
2. Application
For residential driveways, we use high-quality brushes for a thick, even coat with clean edges. For commercial properties, we apply sealer by spray to cover larger areas efficiently and evenly. Either way, we never cut corners.
3. Site Cleanup & Cure
Once the sealcoat is applied, we rope off the area and make sure everything is tidy before we leave. Cure time usually takes 24–48 hours, depending on the weather. You’ll get clear guidance on when it’s safe to walk or drive on the surface.

FAQs
What people ask about sealcoating
How long does sealcoating last?
On average, a quality sealcoat lasts 2–3 years depending on weather, traffic, and pavement condition. With proper maintenance, it can double the lifespan of your asphalt.
When can I drive or walk on the surface?
Sealcoat usually cures in 24–48 hours. We’ll give you specific instructions based on weather conditions and the type of sealer used.
Will sealcoating fix cracks or potholes?
No — sealcoating is not a repair product. It protects and beautifies the surface. Before sealcoating, we recommend crack filling and patching as needed for a smooth, lasting finish.
What if rain is in the forecast?
We monitor the weather closely and only sealcoat when conditions are right. If rain is expected within 24 hours, we’ll reschedule — at no cost to you.
Is sealcoating messy? Will it get on my sidewalk or garage?
Not with us. For driveways, we hand-apply sealer using brushes to create clean lines and avoid splatter. For larger areas, we use spray equipment with edge-cutting tools and masking techniques to keep everything neat.
How often should I sealcoat my driveway?
Every 2–3 years is ideal for most residential properties. Waiting too long allows damage to set in, and sealing too often can cause buildup. We’ll help you find the right schedule.
