Site Preparation Explained

We start by thoroughly cleaning each crack to ensure the best possible bond. Using high-powered blowers, metal wire brushes, and heat torches, we remove all loose debris, dirt, grass, and moisture from the crack channel. This step is critical — if the crack isn’t clean and dry, the rubber won’t adhere properly. In colder months or shaded areas, we torch the crack to remove hidden moisture and warm the asphalt for better adhesion.
